Tellus Group Employees Share Their Views in a New Employee Survey

Employees within the Tellusgruppen Group feel that they work for a company they are satisfied with and that they are motivated in their work. This is evident from the Tellus Group’s internal survey on employee job satisfaction.

In this spring’s employee survey, 386 employees out of a total of 504 surveyed participated. The survey covers topics such as work organization, workload and demands, leadership, and factors contributing to well-being, and is aimed at employees at the Tellus Group’s elementary schools, preschools, and the parent company.

“The survey results highlight both positive aspects and areas where we need to improve. We’re pleased to see that employees feel they are treated with equality and respect in the workplace. That’s a core value for us,” says Bijan Fahimi.

The results are evaluated using a 10-point scale, where 10.0 represents the highest level and 0 indicates the lowest. Employees answered questions such as “My manager treats me with respect” and “My coworkers treat me with respect,” for which the overall scores were 8.9 and 8.8, respectively. On the other hand, there were results with lower scores, such as “I don’t have enough time to perform my job duties,” where the score was 6.7.

“This is one of the areas where we can improve, and we will discuss it together to identify appropriate measures. We also want to encourage our employees to continue participating in surveys, as this is an important part of ensuring quality and development in our operations,” says Bijan Fahimi.

Twice a year, Tellusgruppen conducts a survey to continuously assess changes in employees’ well-being in the workplace over time. The results are also used as the basis for workplace meetings where employees work together to develop an action plan to implement any measures needed to improve and develop the work environment.

In this spring's survey, 77 percent of those surveyed participated, which is an increase from the fall survey, when 73 percent responded.
