Dagens Börs recently interviewed Bijan Fahimi, CEO of Tellusgruppen's , about the company’s strategy, development, and future prospects. In the interview, he shares insights on both expansion and profitability.

  • The Educational Resources Business Area—including native language instruction Omniglot, the staffing solution Vikariepoolen and the edtech initiative Kentaur —contributed over 60 MSEK in revenue and over 8 MSEK in profit over the past 12 months.
  • The acquisition of Språkservice is now fully integrated into Omniglot. The business is growing steadily, and despite certain challenges related to collective bargaining agreements, management believes that profitability can be improved toward the end of the year.
  • The final purchase price for Omniglot came in at approximately 23 MSEK, which is lower than the amount that had been set aside—a positive outcome for Tellusgruppen.
  • Through the acquisition of Vikariepoolen , Tellusgruppen has strengthened its offering in the area of educational staffing and assumed a more prominent role as a full-service provider to schools and preschools.
  • Several new contracts have been awarded, including in Stockholm County, which is seen as an important testament to the company’s capacity and quality.
  • A new financing agreement worth 24 MSEK provides the flexibility needed for growth and future investments.

“Our goal is to become the top choice in the education sector. We want to combine strong growth with sustainable profitability while serving as a reliable partner for schools, preschools, and municipalities,” says Bijan Fahimi, CEO of Tellusgruppen.
