Sandviken International Montessori School will become part of the Tellusskolan and, as such, Tellusskolan’s ninth elementary school. The school is a preschool-through-9th-grade institution with a Montessori approach and an international focus, and it has strong local roots in Sandviken.

Sandviken International Montessori School is a well-run institution that offers high-quality education and is in high demand. Tellus School’s goal is to build on what is already working well and create favorable conditions for the school’s continued development.

The school's profile and leadership continue

Continuity is an important principle as the school becomes part of Tellusskolan. The school will continue to operate with its current Montessori approach and international focus.

Current Principal Helene Öregård will continue as principal of the school and, together with the staff, will continue to lead the school's operations.

“We look forward to welcoming Sandviken International Montessori School to Tellusskolan. It is a highly regarded school with a clear identity and a program that works well. Our goal is to build on the school’s strengths while creating opportunities for sharing experiences and collaborating with our other schools,” says Bijan Fahimi, CEO of Tellusgruppen.

Part of Tellusskolan

By becoming part of Tellusskolan , Sandviken International Montessori School gains access to the group’s collective experience, expertise, and support functions. At the same time, the school brings new perspectives and experiences to Tellusskolan’s other operations.

In the near future, the focus will be on ensuring a safe and well-planned transition for students, parents and guardians, and staff.

The formal start date is October 1.

We look forward to welcoming Sandviken International Montessori School, its students, and staff to Tellusskolan.
