How can we strengthen Sweden’s competitiveness at a time when artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming society? What role do entrepreneurship, innovation, and education play in the welfare of the future? And is the Swedish debate on education at risk of getting bogged down in old conflicts while new opportunities are emerging?
These are some of the questions that will take center stage when the Swedish Association for Independent Schools ( Tellusgruppen ) hosts the seminar “From Revolution to Independent School Entrepreneurship Toward an AI Society ” during Almedalen Week.
The seminar is based on the new book by Bijan Fahimi, CEO of Tellusgruppen's , titled *Confessions of a Welfare Oligarch*. In the book, he describes his journey from revolutionary Iran to entrepreneurship in Sweden, as well as the ideas, conflicts, and issues for the future that have shaped—and will continue to shape—our society.
The seminar will address the development of schools, the role of entrepreneurship in building society, public opinion, and how AI may influence the future of education.
