The spring employee survey for the Tellusgruppen , and its subsidiaries shows that the majority of employees feel they work for a company they are satisfied with and that they are motivated in their work. The employees who responded to the survey work at the Tellus Group’s elementary schools, preschools, and at the parent company.

“We measure and evaluate employees’ perceptions of their workplace twice a year,” says Bijan Fahimi. “We’ve now followed up on this fall’s survey, and the results highlight both the positive aspects and the areas where we need to do more work. It’s encouraging that the survey clearly shows that employees feel they work in an environment where they are treated equally and with respect.”

For questions such as “My manager treats me with respect” and “My coworkers treat me with respect,” the scores are 8.9 and 8.8, respectively, on a 10-point scale. This should be interpreted as a very good result. In addition, the survey shows that employees get along well with their coworkers.

“One of the areas where we need to improve is that employees give lower ratings for the time they have to perform their duties,” says Bijan Fahimi. “This is probably not something unique to us at Tellusgruppen, but given that, it’s even more important to discuss the issue and find solutions that can help.”

The employee survey is conducted twice a year, and employees respond anonymously. After the survey is completed, employees discuss the results at workplace meetings and jointly develop an action plan to address the issues that have been raised. Since the survey is conducted twice a year, Tellusgruppen receives relevant data that allows it to track trends regarding employee well-being and identify areas for improvement.

The survey addressed issues such as work organization, workload and demands, leadership, and key factors contributing to well-being.

The response rate was 77 percent, which is an increase from the fall survey, when 73 percent responded.
