Lotta Edholm Resigns as a Board Member of Tellusgruppen AB

Lotta Edholm was appointed today by Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson (M) as the new Minister of Education in the Swedish government. Lotta Edholm joined the board of Tellusgruppen AB in March 2021 and, following her appointment as minister, will step down from her position on the board of the independent school group.

Lotta Edholm has a background with the Liberal Party; among other things, she is a former City Council member for Education in Stockholm and has served on the Tellus Group’s board of directors for about 1.5 years.

“Lotta Edholm has extensive knowledge of and a strong commitment to education issues,” says Bijan Fahimi, CEO of Tellusgruppen. “We are therefore pleased that she has joined our board. Now that she is the new Minister of Education, we wish her the best of luck in her new role.”

In addition to stepping down as a member of the board of Tellusgruppen, Lotta Edholm will also sell her stake of 12,500 shares in the company.
